Tender Pork Chops Swimming in Rich Homemade Gravy

These pork chops are some good home cooking. Tender and juicy, they are packed with flavor; the gravy is simple and savory. Great for a weeknight meal and pairs well with potatoes or rice!

 

·        6 Center Cut Pork Chops

·        2 TBSP of HR Jalapeno Garlic Rub

·        1 Medium Onion Chopped

·        1 8oz Container of Sliced Mushrooms

·        2 TBSP of Butter

·        2 TBSP of Flour

·        12 ounces of Beef Consommé

 

Remove any unwanted fat from your chops.

Season both sides with the HR Garlic Jalapeno Rub.

Preheat a skillet with 3 Tbsp of Olive Oil, sear the pork chops on each side until they are golden brown.

Place in an oven safe dish, repeat this process until all the chops have been browned.

In the same pan add the onions and mushrooms and cook until tender.

Add the butter and flour and stir.

Slowly add in the Consommé stirring constantly until the gravy reaches your desired thickness.

Once done pour the gravy over the chops and place in a 375-degree oven for one hour or until the chops are tender and have reached your desired temperature.

Remove from oven to cool slightly before serving.
