Turkey Wings with Mississippi White Sauce
We love some Chicken Wings with White Sauce. So we thought why not try some turkey wings? These wings were golden brown and crispy. The flavor was amazing and the sauce gave them a great “twang”. These were truly an awesome bite!
· 6-8 Turkey Wings (Tips Removed)
· Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub
· Killer Hogs TX Brisket Rub
· 1/8 Cup Killer Hogs Hot Sauce
· 1/2 Cup Killer Hogs Mississippi White Sauce
For this cook we used our Weber Kettle utilizing the Vortex. We lit a chimney 3/4 full of charcoal and poured the coals into the Vortex. Prepped our wings by removing the tips. Use the KH Hot Sauce as the binder and apply a medium layer of the KH TX to all sides. Then dust all sides with a light layer of KH Hot. Place on the grill around the vortex and cook until they are golden brown, crispy and have reached an internal temp of 165 degrees. Once the temp is met coat the wings in a bowl using the KH Mississippi White Sauce. Place it back on the grill for 10 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
